Barcelona Art Street Museum is the first 100% street art museum in Barcelona, located in the Gothic Quarter of Ciutat Vella. It brings together street art and contemporary art in a unique setting: more than 35 original works across 7 themed rooms. You won't find reproductions or posters here, but studio pieces created by urban artists showcasing their authentic work.

Among Barcelona's contemporary art museums, BAS is the only one dedicated exclusively to urban art. That means being Barcelona's first 100% urban art museum: it is born and built in the city, with works created for the museum, and it is neither a touring exhibition nor a collection of reproductions.
BAS was created to give value to urban art, a discipline that is often undervalued, and it treats it with the same care as any other contemporary movement. Each work comes with its context, so that you understand not only what you are looking at, but why it is part of the history of urban art.
BAS's collection brings together local and international urban artists with one trait in common: these are original studio works, painted for the museum in a large format (2x2 metres), not copies or recreations brought in from elsewhere.

On BAS's walls, emerging artists and established names of the urban scene live side by side, such as Okuda, Aryz, Felipe Pantone or OsGêmeos.
The commitment to emerging talent is deliberate: BAS selects voices that are defining urban art today and makes them engage in dialogue with the temporary exhibitions, which renew the collection throughout the year.
Opening hours and days
BAS is open Tuesday to Sunday, from 11:00 to 20:30h. In high season we recommend booking your ticket in advance.

The museum is at Carrer de la Carabassa 10, 08002 Barcelona, in the heart of Ciutat Vella, a few minutes' walk from the Barri Gòtic and the Port Vell.
