Art has no borders or rules: it speaks, shouts, transgresses, and inspires. At BAS, we want it to be felt, displayed, and celebrated

Come, see, reflect and connect.
BAS is just the door: the city is the true museum.
Here, art is free, critical, political, and alive.

BAS Museum brings together works by some of the best national and international artists linked to urban art, creators who use public space as a medium for artistic expression.

The museum offers the opportunity to discover, in one space, a great diversity of styles, techniques and generations from pioneers to emerging artists without having to travel around the city or journey far. Through QR codes located next to some works, you can learn more about the artists and their creative processes.

BAS is a living museum:
Although the museum has a permanent collection, its exhibition discourse constantly evolves, incorporating new works and narratives, while giving special prominence to painting within contemporary art. Additionally, one of the galleries is dedicated to emerging artists, offering them a space to showcase and develop their artistic trajectory.
Cultural, educational and social vocation

BAS bets on a close relationship with the public through guided tours, cultural projects, workshops, talks, and collaborations with artists, experts, and cultural entities.
BAS is a space dedicated to society that investigates, showcases, and preserves urban and contemporary art. We provide a framework for visual and urban artists to express themselves, and for the public, the opportunity to discover and understand new narratives and perspectives through their works. Through exhibitions, workshops, cultural projects, and collaborations with organizations, we promote cultural diffusion and artistic education in the community.
