At BAS we want to be a meeting point and communication hub for the urban art scene in Barcelona. This blog collects news, collaborations, and cultural projects that we promote, highlighting the vitality and impact of urban art in the city.

We believe the city is the true museum, and that is why we collaborate with galleries, centres and projects such as Montana Gallery, B‐Murals, Arnau Gallery, BesArt and many others, to build a rich, vibrant and accessible urban ecosystem.

Through exhibitions, routes, workshops and creative residencies, we aim to generate synergies and unique experiences, conveying the strength, criticism and freedom that characterise urban art.

BAS is not just an exhibition space: it is a laboratory of urban creativity and a bridge between artists, the public and the city.

Synergies

One of our main objectives is to activate and strengthen a vibrant network of connections between the different entities, organizations, and associations linked to urban art in Barcelona. We work to build a shared space where information about the most relevant events organized by each agent can be accessed clearly and centrally, thereby enhancing the visibility and interconnection of the sector.

This project is based on an active network of cultural agents with whom we will work continuously, sharing and promoting events through the platform. It includes organizations such as Montana Colors (1994), B-Murals (2010), BesArt (2016), and Fundació Contorno Urbano (2017), which develop artistic, educational, and social projects connected to the local territory.
